After some sunshine to end the week, cloud cover has moved into the region overnight Friday night into early on Saturday morning, and we will keep the cloud cover along with chances for showers and thunderstorms into the forecast looking ahead into the upcoming weekend.

Any storm that develops could produce heavy rainfall throughout the weekend, so keep an eye on the radar and have your umbrella handy.
