WATCH: US Rep. Maxine Waters speaks at Women's Convention in Detroit

DETROIT – U.S. Representative Maxine Waters, D-Calif., spoke Saturday at the Women's Convention in Detroit.

Waters was honored during the Sojourner Truth Luncheon.

Her speech took jabs at President Donald Trump as she pointed out comments the president has made about women.

She ended by chanting, "Impeach 45," as the audience joined her.

Waters coined the "reclaiming my time" catchphrase, which is the theme of the convention.

Women’s March said the program’s content at the convention will center around issue-based education, skills training and civic engagement. 

Speakers at the convention includes experts in racial justice, reproductive rights and immigrant rights.
