Eastbound Square Lake Road at Woodward Avenue was closed for nearly two hours on Wednesday following a single-vehicle crash into a Bloomfield Hills gas station.
Aerial footage of the scene around 1 p.m. showed a red, disabled Jeep Grand Cherokee with severe front-end damage after crashing into the side of the Shell gas station near the dumpsters.
It’s not yet clear whether the driver was injured or if any passengers were in the vehicle, however all occupants were removed from the Jeep before it was towed away.
Bloomfield Township police provided an update around 2 p.m. saying that the scene had been cleared and the roadway was back open, but has not yet provided an update on the condition of the driver.
