Crews work to restore power in Highland Township

HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Temperatures climbed into the 90s Monday, leading to power outages across Metro Detroit.

Madison Heights and Royal Oak residents were hit with outages that lasted about two hours.

The power was restored to most areas, but some spots in Highland Township were still without power Monday night.
