WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police said an Oakland County man's identity was stolen by a thief who made a large Walmart purchase.

Waterford Township police said a man purchased $350 in electronic merchandise online from Walmart and picked up the items Aug. 15 from the New Hudson Walmart.

He is described as a thin man in his early to mid-20s with short, black hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt, camouflage shorts and Nike slip-on sandals, police said.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man in the picture above.
