Report: Fiat Chrysler reaches deal to merge with Peugeot

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Fiat Chrysler has reportedly reached a deal to merge with French automotive manufacturer Peugeot.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Peugeot Board has approved the merger. FCA said in a press release Wednesday that is was in talks with Peugeot, but the automaker hasn’t confirmed the merger.

There is a board meeting and earnings conference call planned for Thursday.
