Detroit police investigating body found near school
DETROIT – Police are investigating after a body was found Friday morning a few blocks south of Clark, J.E. Preparatory Academy on Detroit’s east side.
The body was found at about 9 a.m. near the intersection of Brunswick Street and Balfour Road, just north of Mack Avenue.
Police are unsure of how the person died and have not released details on the age of the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
