DETROIT – Many Metro Detroit residents can’t afford to pay for heat to keep warm during winter.

The Heat And Warmth Fund is working to help needy families around the region. DTE and THAW are partnering up for the annual Week of Warmth.

A series of events taking place all week long are aimed at raising and distributing more than $1 million to Michigan families in need.
