Grosse Ile swing bridge closing temporarily for maintenance, repairs
Grosse Ile swing bridge. Nov. 13, 2019 (WDIV)WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – The Grosse Ile swing bridge over the Trenton Channel closed Wednesday night.
It’s expected to remain closed until further notice for maintenance and repairs.
Drivers are urged to use West Jefferson and Grosse Ile Parkway as detours.
Those who frequently cross the bridge are warned to plan for extra travel time.
