Sales of Pawfficer Donut shirts will benefit two local charities. (WDIV)

TROY, Mich. – Shirts featuring Troy Police Department’s own Pawfficer Donut are going on sale to benefit two local charities.

Pawfficer Donut, for those unfurmiliar, is a police cat working with the Troy Police Department.

Pawfficer Donut champions pawsitivity through school visits, community events and social media content.

Shirts will feature a photo of Donut with the motto “Purrtect and Serve." They will be available until Dec. 2 and can be purchased through Good Ink for $25.

Proceeds from the sales of the shirts benefit HAVEN, Oakland County’s organization for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and Leuk’s Landing, a home for cats with feline leukemia.
