Inside local hospitals -- Are they at capacity?
The spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) to hundreds of residents in Metro Detroit has started to put a strain on hospitals in the area. Hospitals such as Henry Ford in Downtown Detroit are nearing capacity. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer warned Tuesday that Beaumont Health is almost at capacity. As of Wednesday evening, Henry Ford Hospital is reporting 304 positive cases in patients and another 107 people who are hospitalized while awaiting test results.
