Wayne County Medical Examiner releases Damon Grimes autopsy

DETROIT – The autopsy report for a Detroit teenager who died while fleeing Michigan State Police troopers on an ATV revealed the 15-year-old died from blunt force head trauma, the Wayne County Medical Examiner said.

In the autopsy report for Damon Grimes, medical experts said they found a dislocation of the skull, multiple injuries on his face and Taser leads on the back of his head.

"There were leads from a conducted electrical weapon embedded in the hair on the back left side of the head and the skin of the left lower back," the autopsy said. "The leads were recovered and retained."
