ROMULUS, Mich. – A plane was damaged prior to take off at Detroit Metropolitan Airport Tuesday morning when a tow truck slid into the side of the aircraft due to slippery conditions.
According to Delta, the aircraft was being pushed back when the tow truck lost traction and slid into the plane.

The passengers were put on another plane to get them to their destination. No injuries were reported.
The plane suffered minor damages. Crews could be seen patching the plane with cardboard and duct tape.
