Eastpointe boil water advisory has been lifted

EASTPOINTE, Mich. – A boil water advisory for the entire city of Eastpointe has been lifted. 

The advisory was issued after storms knocked out power Friday night. The power outage caused an issue with water pressure in the city's water system, officials said. Some areas of the city had water shut off. 

All residents was urged to boil water before use. The advisory was lifted Monday morning.
