A 40-year-old Farmington Hills man is accused of possessing child porn and was charged Tuesday, according to attorney general Bill Schuette.
Jeremiah Moore is charged with 20 felony counts of possession of child sexually abusive material and one felony count of using a computer to commit a crime. Moore also faces a sentence enhancement as a habitual offender.

“As a prosecutor, and as a father, cases involving sexual abuse of a child are some of the most challenging,” Schuette said. “The allegations in this case are disturbing, and I am determined to put a stop to the continued exploitation of children.”
Moore’s bond was set at $500,000.

Case Background
Moore was previously convicted by on felony CSAM charges, filed by the Department of Attorney General, in 2015 and is currently serving five years probation.
In January of this year, the Attorney General’s office became aware of Moore’s attempt to modify two of the most critical conditions of his parole. Our agents, contacted a multi-jurisdictional law enforcement task force called “Nighthawk,” which is led by the Michigan Department of Corrections whose focus is to ensure compliance by registered sex offenders with their probation/parole conditions. Department of Attorney General agents organized a coordinated effort with Nighthawk and members of Michigan State Police Division of ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) task force to conduct a compliance check at Moore’s home in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Multiple videos and hundreds of photos containing CSAM were allegedly found on electronic devices that allegedly belong to Moore.
