Police investigating after 17-year-old girl’s body found on Detroit’s west side
DETROIT – A 17-year-old girl was found dead Thursday afternoon. It’s believed she was fatally stabbed.
It happened on Grandville Avenue, near Fenkell and Outer Drive. Police said a family member heard noises inside the home and went downstairs, where she found the girl’s body.

The investigation is ongoing.
