Report: Trenton homeowners find human remains in fire pit
TRENTON, Mich. – Human remains were found this week in a fire pit at a house on Wilson Street in Trenton, according to a News-Herald report.
Tuesday afternoon update: Trenton police investigate human remains found in fire pit by new homeowners
The newspaper reports the homeowners had recently purchased the home this year from a man who died in a shootout with police in Tennessee this past month.
Police are expected to release more information Tuesday.
