Upland Hills School creates classroom space outdoors amid COVID-19 pandemic School using nature to return students to the classroom
OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A school in Oakland County is preparing for in-person learning by using all of the tools of nature -- they’re creating classroom space outdoors.

The school is Upland Hills School located in Oxford. They don’t do traditional education, and this fall it’s going to become even less traditional.
They are constructing large tents and clearing outdoor spaces. Their school uniform will be to come dressed for the weather.
