President-elect Joe Biden plans ‘America United’ inauguration theme

DETROIT – While the impeachment process plays out, President-elect Joe Biden said the theme of his inauguration will be “America United.”

Many people are asking how do you move toward unity without accountability? Many believe it will be a difficult process until politics are removed out of accountability and criminality.

In 1960, the Gurri family left their home in Cuba to escape a brutal dictator named Fidel Castro. One of the children of the Gurri family grew up to be a psychologist and co-host for a video podcast on ethics called The Rabbi and the Shrink.

Dr. Margharita Gurri said she is deeply pained by the insurrection at the nation’s capital last week. She said she believes there must be accountability. Not just of our elected leaders, but ourselves and our neighbors -- to consider true healing.

Reports: FBI warns of possible armed protests at 50 state Capitols starting Jan. 16

A memo from the FBI to law enforcement agencies across the United States is warning of possible armed protests at all 50 state Capitols starting Jan. 16, several outlets are reporting Monday.

NBC News reports the FBI also said an armed group has threatened to travel to Washington, D.C. the same day (Jan. 16) and “stage an uprising if Congress removes President Trump from office, according to a senior law enforcement official.”
