5 taken to hospital after explosion at Oakland County apartment complex

Five people were taken to the hospital after an explosion at an apartment complex in Oakland County, officials said.

Firefighters in Waterford Township said they were called at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 8) to the Arborview Village Apartments at Leonard Lane and Fiddis Avenue in Pontiac.

The final vote in Ann Arbor was cast at 2 a.m. the morning after the midterm election began.

Voters were met with long lines and long waits way after the polls closed on the University of Michigan campus.

The last person to get in line just before the 8 p.m. deadline was post-graduate student Eric Pedersen.
