A woman said she woke up to her neighbor, Maher Haddad, standing over her in bed. Haddad lives in a next-door condominium building, she said.

When the woman yelled for Haddad to leave, he laid down in her bed and started kissing her neck and touching her inappropriately, according to authorities.

She said she was eventually able to lead Haddad toward the front door and force him out.

Officers found Haddad at his home and took him into custody. He is charged with first-degree home invasion and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Haddad was arraigned Friday at 52nd District Court and given a $100,000 bond, or 10%, cash/surety. He is being held at the Oakland County Jail.
