Detroit Tigers announce first jersey patch partner

The patch will debut in Thursday’s game

DETROIT – The Tigers announced their sponsor Meijer will be the club’s first jersey patch partner on Thursday.

The sleeve patch will debut on Thursday’s series opener against the Chicago White Sox. The patch is a part of a multi-year extended partnership.

Tigers players and Ilitch Sports + Entertainment leadership made the announcement with Meijer executives and employees at Meijer’s first Detroit location on Thursday morning.
