Man suspected in robberies of 7-Eleven stores in Warren, St. Clair Shores arrested

A Detroit man suspected in the robberies of two Macomb County 7-Eleven stores in May was arrested.

Warren Police said they’ve made an arrest of 30-year-old Antonio Hall from Detroit, who was allegedly involved in three robberies and attempted robberies of 7-Eleven convenience stores in Warren and St. Clair Shores in May.

Police say the suspect entered a store in Warren on May 16 with a mask, walked behind the counter, produced a handgun, and removed cash from the register. Warren police were called to a similar incident on May 21, at a different 7-Eleven location, but the suspect couldn’t open the register and fled on foot.

Police were made aware of an incident in St. Clair Shores on May 14, leading investigators to believe one suspect was responsible for all three incidents.

On May 23, officers made contact with this suspect and took him into custody outside his Detroit residence without incident for the robberies.

Hall was scheduled to be arraigned on charged in Warren on Thursday afternoon. Police did say the suspect does not have an extensive criminal history or previous violent crime convictions.

In addition to facing charges for the Warren incidents, it is likely that additional charges will be filed against this suspect by the St. Clair Shores Police Department.
