Man fled bank on foot with undisclosed amount of cash

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Chase Bank in Ann Arbor on Friday morning.

The robbery happened at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at the Chase Bank at 3500 Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor.

Police said a man entered the bank at 9:15 a.m., approached the teller window, and passed the employee a note demanding cash and implying that he had a weapon.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash. The man fled the bank on foot and was last seen headed toward Green Road. There was no weapon seen during the robbery and no one was injured.

The man is described as being in his 50s. He was last seen wearing a black coat, gray hat, dark gloves, and a face covering.
