Man accused of hate crime, death threats at Clinton Township Walmart store

Neither victim sustained any physical injuries, prosecutors say

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 42-year-old man from Clinton Township is facing two felonies in connection with an incident at a Walmart store.

According to authorities, Vincent Michael Moceri yelled racial slurs, pointed knives at two random people and threatened to kill them at the store on Friday, Jan. 5.

Moceri was arraigned Monday, Jan. 8, on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and ethnic intimidation. His bond was set at $30,000 cash/surety, 10%.

He is expected to return to court for a probable cause conference Jan. 22, 2024.
