WARREN, Mich. – It was no ordinary traffic stop for Warren police after a Detroit man led them on a chase.
The chase occurred Saturday (March 16) afternoon when officials spotted the vehicle with no license plate.
Officers said the driver with no plate had no license, and the brand new video released shows the Warren officer had incredible patience, as the driver would not cooperate with the officer’s demands.
After a while, officers said they had enough and put one cuff on the driver before he fled the scene, leading officers on a wild pursuit while putting other drivers in danger.
Finally, there was a stop and a taser and arrest of the driver, Romero Austin-Folson of Detroit, who turned a traffic stop into felony charges of fleeing, eluding and assaulting resisting an officer.
