Semi-truck removal leads to closure of EB I-96 at Beck Road in Oakland County Closure will remain in place until 3 a.m. Friday, April 19
OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – There’s a major snag in the evening commute.
Eastbound I-96 at Beck Road in Oakland County is closed so crews can remove a rolled-over semi-truck from a ditch.
This incident took place on Thursday (April 18) morning. The cleanup operation is scheduled to commence at 6:30 p.m.
Drivers heading that way will need to exit at Beck Road, take Grand River Avenue, and then Novi Road to get back on eastbound I-96.
The closure will remain in place until 3 a.m. Friday, April 19.
