DETROIT – A security guard has been arrested after he pointed a gun at another driver during a road rage incident on Detroit’s east side.
The incident occurred on Thursday (June 13) on the Chalmers Avenue ramp to westbound I-94 as both vehicles attempted to enter the freeway.
Officials say the 22-year-old man pulled alongside the victims and brandished the gun before speeding off.
Police say the victims could record his license plate and identify the vehicle as belonging to a private security company.
The 22-year-old man from Detroit was described as wearing a security guard’s uniform. When Troopers made contact with him, they seized two guns.
The Detroit native was arrested and charged at the Detroit Detention Center pending prosecutor review.
