DICKINSON COUNTY, Mich. – A 23-year-old man from Norway living in California will stand trial in Michigan after reportedly sexually assaulting two children.
McWilliams reportedly sexually assaulted a child at a relative’s home in 2018. He was charged by the Michigan Attorney General with second-degree criminal sexual conduct and accosting a child for immoral purposes in July 2024.
In February 2024, he was also charged by the Dickinson County Prosecutor’s Office with three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. These charges stem from allegations that McWilliams sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl in October 2022.
A pretrial date has not yet been set.
