Officials: Medical emergency likely led to Tesla crash in Plymouth Driver is expected to survive
PLYMOUTH, Mich. – Police say a medical emergency involving a 67-year-old driver likely led to the crash in Plymouth involving a Tesla.
The crash occurred on Thursday (Dec. 5) on Ann Arbor Road near South Main Street .
Investigators say the Tesla reached 100 miles per hour as it left the road before the crash.
Officials say the car clipped a mailbox, hit a telephone pole, and split in half.
Police say the 67-year-old driver is expected to survive.
