Detroit police searching for suspects accused of injuring 2 in shooting

DETROIT – Detroit police are asking the public for more information about a shooting that left two men injured Sunday afternoon.

The shooting happened in the area of W 8 Mile and Ashton at around 1:25 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2024. Police said two men approached two other men sitting in a vehicle and shot them. The suspects then ran away from the scene.

The victims were taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
