WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – Michigan State Police said the 19-year-old driver from Dearborn who was sent to the hospital after a rollover crash on the Southfield Freeway near Plymouth Road has died.
The rollover crash occurred on Tuesday (Feb. 18) around 1 p.m. when officials say the 19-year-old driver, while speeding northbound on Southfield Freeway near Plymouth Road, lost control of his car.

When troopers arrived at the scene, they found the man partially ejected and trapped in the car.
The 19-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment before succumbing to his injuries.
The freeway was shut down for investigation, which is ongoing, and clean-up.
MSP has notified the family.
