$1,000 reward offered for info in Detroit armed robbery, assault Victim hospitalized after robbery and assault
Police are looking for two people involved in an April 20, 2025 assault and armed robbery in Detroit. (WDIV)
DETROIT – Police in Detroit are looking for two people accused of robbing and beating a man.
It happened at about noon, April 20, near the intersection of State Fair Avenue and John R Street. Police said two men approached a 57-year-old man -- one produced a gun and the other beat the victim. They reportedly drove off in a gray Ford Fusion with the victim’s money.
The 57-year-old man was hospitalized for his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who recognizes the two or knows any information is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-1140 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
A $1,000 reward has been offered . Tips must include the case number 2504200149.
