LIVONIA, Mich. – The southbound lanes of I-275 are closed in Livonia after a deadly crash Thursday morning involving a car and a semi truck.

The crash happened around 3:38 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026, near 8 Mile Road.
Local 4 crews saw a car get pulled out from underneath a semi truck, and we confirmed that someone was killed.
Several emergency vehicles are at the scene as police investigate.
All southbound lanes are closed.
