DETROIT – Damon Bentley, 27, of Detroit, was arraigned in the 36th District Court on charges related to the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old Westland man.
Bentley has been charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of felony firearm, and one count of carrying a concealed weapon.

The incident occurred on Sunday (May 4) when the 27-year-old man allegedly shot and killed the victim outside the Grand Lofts apartment complex in southwest Detroit.
Bently is scheduled to appear before the 36th District Court on May 20.
