DETROIT – A 16-year-old Roseville girl is accused of stabbing a 15-year-old Detroit boy in the stomach multiple times near Campus Martius, officials said.
The girl has been charged with felonious assault. Since she is being charged as a juvenile, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office is not releasing her name.

At 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, officers responded near Detroit’s Campus Martius Park in the 1000 block of Woodward Avenue after receiving a report of a stabbing.
When they arrived, they found the 15-year-old boy with stab wounds to his stomach. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
The two teens were allegedly involved in an argument. It escalated, and the girl pulled out a pocketknife and allegedly stabbed the boy in his stomach multiple times, according to the prosecutor’s office.
The girl was arrested a short time after the stabbing, officials said.
She was charged with felonious assault. A preliminary hearing was held at the Juvenile Detention Facility located in the Wayne County Criminal Justice Center.
A $7,500/10% bond was issued with the conditions that she cannot possess knives or weapons and cannot have any contact with the victim in this case.
Future hearings will be held in Macomb County since the girl is a Roseville resident.
