EASTPOINTE, Mich. – Animal Control in Eastpointe is looking for the mother of five newborn kittens after a person left them at a motel on Wednesday.
The kittens were left in front of a room at Eastland Motel on Gratiot Avenue on May 28 at around 10:30 a.m.
The Eastpointe Police Animal Control Division shared security footage from the hotel on Facebook, showing a person abandoning the kittens. The mother cat was not with the newborn kittens.

According to the Facebook post, the newborn kittens were taken to the animal control’s rescue partner.
