Video shows tornado rips roof off business in Southwest Michigan

As storms continue to move through parts of Michigan, a cell phone video shows a tornado forming in the southwest part of the state.

The video shows a funnel cloud forming in the parking lot of a strip mall.

The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Three Rivers and near Union City on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Local 4 is getting damage reports from the area, including reports of roofs being torn off buildings, including the roof of a Menards.
