Ramp changes start near Blue Water Bridge -- What to know

PORT HURON, Mich. – A ramp adjustment will be made beginning Monday morning near the Blue Water Bridge.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) said traffic on the Pine Grove ramp to the Blue Water Bridge plaza will be restricted to passenger vehicles only beginning Monday, June 9.

The eastbound lanes on I-94 heading into the plaza will be changed to accommodate three lanes of traffic, with the left lane reserved for passenger vehicles beginning Sunday, June 15.
The adjustment is part of the Blue Water Bridge plaza expansion project, which includes the following:
Relocating eastbound I-94/I-69 Exit 275 to M-25
Reconfiguring the 10th Avenue/Pine Grove Avenue Intersection
Rebuilding eastbound I-94/I-69 at the MDOT maintenance facility location
Installing noise walls along the eastbound I-94/I-69 exit to Pine Grove Avenue, as well as along the westbound I-94/I-69 Business Loop from Garfield Street south to the Black River Bridge
