Pontiac man convicted of sexually assaulting 15-year-old girl with autism

Man was convicted of third-degree sexual conduct and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct

PONTIAC, Mich. – Pontiac resident Ronald Leon Jackson, 59, has been convicted of two counts of criminal sexual conduct for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl with autism.

The incident occurred in September 2022 when the 15-year-old and her mother were at Jackson’s home.

Court documents said the mother discovered the 59-year-old man had molested the 15-year-old girl. The mother called the police and reported the crime.

DNA evidence showed sexual contact between Jackson and the teen.

Jackson was convicted on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, of one count of third-degree sexual conduct and one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Third-degree criminal sexual conduct is punishable by up to 15 years in prison, as well as mandatory HIV/STD testing.

Fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct is punishable by up to two years in prison and /or a $500 fine.

Jackson is scheduled to be sentenced in Oakland County Circuit Court on Aug. 6, 2025.
