A hit-and-run in Monroe County hospitalized two people with critical injuries Saturday.
It happened just after 9:30 p.m. on June 21, on North Dixie Highway in Frenchtown Township.

According to authorities, Connie L. Cosby, 40, and Anthony R. Keister, 40, were crossing the road when a northbound 4-door Ford sedan struck them. They were transported to Corewell Health Trenton Hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
The driver of the Ford did not stop. Witnesses said the Ford was driving erratically at the time.
Authorities said a suspect was identified and a search warrant was executed on a Frenchtown Township home on Monday, June 23, where they found the suspect and a blue Ford Fusion. The suspect has been lodged at the Monroe County Jail.
