WB M-5 reopens after brief closure due to downed power line in Oakland County MDOT advises drivers to find another route

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – The westbound lanes of M-5 at Orchard Lake Road after Middlebelt Road in Oakland County have reopened after a downed power line caused the closure.
The closure occurred on Tuesday (June 24).
Officials stated that the closure was under one mile in length.
The Michigan Department of Transportation advised drivers to find an alternative route while they worked to reopen the area.
