MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A rollover crash involving six vehicles sent two people to the hospital.

The crash occurred on Tuesday (July 1) at 10:05 a.m. when Chesterfield Township police responded to the intersection of 23 Mile Road and Sierra Drive.

Police reported that they observed significant damage to four of the six vehicles involved in the crash.

Officials said the initial investigation identified a 34-year-old man from St. Clair, traveling east on 23 Mile Road, in a Ford Escape.

Police said the Ford Escape struck a second vehicle making a left turn from Seaden Drive onto West 23 Mile Road.

Officials said the Ford Escape rolled over and struck four other vehicles on West 23 Mile Road.

Police said the driver of the Ford Escape and an adult occupant of one of the other vehicles were conveyed by Medstar to a Metro Detroit hospital.
