CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – A man is facing four 15-year felonies in the death of a 42-year-old woman who was found severely injured in an intersection on Sunday morning, Feb. 13.
Police were called to the scene of a reported crash and found Teresa Sanchez, 42, of Chesterfield Township, at the intersection of Hidden Brook Drive and Burgess Lane.
After an investigation, it was determined that the evidence and witness statements were not consistent with a traffic crash, Chesterfield Township Police Department said in a news release.

He is charged with one count of reckless driving causing death; one count of manslaughter with a motor vehicle; one count of failure to stop at the scene of an accident when at fault, causing death; and one count of driving with a suspended license, causing death.
