While investigating, officers were led to Fareed George Hajjar’s home on Hampton Court in Dearborn at about 9:30 a.m. on June 30.
Authorities discovered that on June 22, 2024, Hajjar allegedly brought the victim from her hotel in the 42000 block of Eleven Mile Road in Novi to his home to engage in sex acts for money, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.
Hajjar has been charged with prostitution, transporting a person and facilitating travel services for purposes of prostitution/human trafficking.
His arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
“I hope that these charges are a wake-up call to those who choose to commit crimes like the ones that we have charged today. We have not forgotten Ms. Ferreira,” said Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy.
The prosecutor also said that the medical examiner could not determine the victim’s cause of death.
