MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A Macomb County sexual assault case that began nearly 10 years ago has concluded with a plea agreement.

The three separate sexual assaults took place in Sterling Heights, Eastpointe and Warren.

The court case began in 2016 and initially resulted in Veach being found guilty in 2017 on multiple counts of first and second-degree criminal sexual conduct. Veach appealed his convictions, resulting in the Michigan Supreme Court ordering a new trial.

Monday’s plea agreement dismissed all remaining charges.

Veach will serve 11 to 25 years in the Michigan Department of Corrections and be subject to lifetime electronic monitoring and mandatory lifetime registration on the sex offender registry.
