Weather: Hot, humid end of the week in Metro Detroit -- when to expect more storm chances
The moisture left over from yesterday’s showers and storms has resulted in patchy fog formation in the outlying suburbs this morning. The sunshine will burn that off rather quickly. Highs will be in the mid-80s today and we anticipate more sun than clouds with a very slight chance of a pop-up shower later in the day.
Temperatures will trend warmer into the weekend. We rise into the upper 80s on Friday and close to 90 on Saturday with heat indices into the mid to upper 90s for the first half of the weekend.
