CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Multiple people were taken to the hospital Friday after a three-car crash at an intersection in Canton Township.
The crash happened at 12:13 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, in the area of Warren and Morton Taylor roads.
Police said a 66-year-old Canton Township woman was driving a white Ford Edge south on Morton Taylor Road when she crashed into a black Ford Explorer.
A 67-year-old man from Westland was driving the Explorer, and he had multiple passengers, according to police.
The first collision caused the Explorer to crash into a blue Toyota Rav 4, police said. The 30-year-old Plymouth man driving the Rav 4 had been waiting at the intersection to turn south onto Morton Taylor Road from eastbound Warren Road.
People from the Explorer and the Edge were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, police said. The severity of their injuries was not disclosed.
Canton Township police are investigating the crash. They don’t believe alcohol was a factor.
