Person killed by family member during argument at Dearborn home, police say 1 person taken into custody

DEARBORN, Mich. – A person was killed by a family member during an argument at a home in Dearborn, police said.
Officers and firefighters were called around 11 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, to a home in the 1700 block of Walnut Street.
Police said there was some sort of argument at the home, and one family member was shot and killed by another.
The suspected shooter was taken into custody, police said. Charges are being reviewed.
