TAYLOR, Mich. – Police are investigating a shooting in Taylor that left one person dead Saturday night.
The deadly shooting happened in the area of Eureka Road and Pine Street at around 9 p.m. on July 19.

According to police, the victim got into a fight with a group of three to four others, and someone pulled out a gun.
No suspects have been arrested, but police said they have descriptions.
“We understand the community has concerns and we want to assure you that we are actively working to gather all the facts,” said Taylor police in a statement on Sunday.
